Troop of Shewe- A strange title you may think. It was originally attributed to the Kings Lifeguard of Horse during the English Civil Wars, implying a well dressed troop but can they fight? This I thought was apt, ECW is my favourite period and indeed my units may well look good but often as not perform appallingly, I guess I’m everybody's favourite opponent
Things have moved on since this first website, i no longer have time to update here, so until i redesign a new website my latest work is found here:
http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/troopofshewe/my_photos Recently the most publicity has been around my pet project:
http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/TheFeatheredSerpentProject/ This initially started from my interest in Aztecs, its gained momentum with the award winning "Siege of Tenochtitlan" display game and now spawned a project in its own right. There are a set of grand skirmish rules for the period being co-written with Karl Lowthian, hopefully we will have these in print in conjunction with Jeff at Outpost Wargames Services. If your interested in furthering the project, playing a game at a show, or just want to know more drop me a line.
I generally put on at least one top quality display game a year, again contact me for details
Please note prices listed are not current, contact me for prices and availability.
Oh, and i now do terrain......
